Tiziana Pintus The Italian violinist Tiziana Pintus finished her studies at the “Conservatorio di Musica G. Verdi” in Milan and was awarded the soloist diploma at the ‘Conservatorium of Music’ in Utrecht. She has had the opportunity to benefit from the advice of great artists such as Yehudi Menhuin, Igor Oistrack, Boris Belkin, Victor Liberman and Herman Krebbers, however it was Philippe Hirshhorn who provided the crucial influence for her artistic development. Tiziana performs with a variety of chamber music ensembles and has given concerts in Europe, (The Concertgebouw; Musikverein in Vienna), The Middle East and the United States. Pintus has performed with the Amsterdam Bach Soloists, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (Amsterdam) and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. She has filled the positions of Concert Master and Soloist with many different Orchestras and Ensembles and worked with musicians such as V. Mullova, I. Oistrak, and F. Petracchi. Since 1993 she has been the Solo violinist of the Schreck Ensemble, an ensemble that specializes in the performance of electro-acoustic music. She is also a member of the Camenae Collective and was guest primarius of the Zephyr Quartet and Insomnio ensemble. Her solo and chamber music performances have been recorded and broadcasted in Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Australia and Denmark
