Ensembles - Camenae Collective
Camenae Collective The Camenae Collective is an ensemble composed of a small core of musicians whose combination will vary in order to adapt to the requirement of every program. The first project of the Camenae Collective was for violin and piano and was entitled ”1912 – 1937: The first years of the cinema - a musical impression.” It featured works by van N. Rota, O. Respighi, C. Ives, A. Coplan, G. Gershwin. T. Pintus violin, B. Cuden piano. After the great success during the Gubaidulina festival with pieces such as “Hommage a T.S. Elliott” came the inspiration for the following programs:
-Schuberts Componistenkettingbrief (season 2009-2010) A musical chain - Inspired by Schubert Claron McFadden sings Sofia Gubaidulina De Man Time present/past Octet (wp)- Gubaidulina Hommage a T.S. Elliot- Schubert Octet -Transfigured Night A visual feast combining the live kinetic painting of Norman Perryman with the string sextets of Schöenberg en Voorvelt (wp)
